leverist.de is a matchmaking platform of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. On leverist.de, development cooperation communicates where it has needs for entrepreneurial cooperation. Private sector actors can use leverist.de to contact development cooperation directly in order to initiate joint cooperation projects.
4. Description and scope of data processing
Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.
The following data is collected:

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Accordingly, the user's e-mail address is stored for as long as the subscription to the newsletter is active.
e) Possibility of objection and removal
The subscription to the newsletter can be cancelled by the user concerned at any time. For this purpose, a corresponding link can be found in each newsletter.
This also enables revocation of the consent to the storage of the personal data collected during the registration process.
8. Registration
a) Description and scope of data processing
On our website, we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data. The data is entered in an input mask and transmitted to us and stored. Data can only be viewed by GIZ. Partners only have limited access to the backend of the site and therefore cannot view any personal data. Data is not passed on to third parties. The transmission to GIZ takes place via an SSL-encrypted connection, so that unauthorized access is made much more difficult.
10. E-mail contact
When using the contact function in the footer of the page, the personal data of the user transmitted with the e-mail (for example: surname, first name, address), but at least the e-mail address, as well as the information contained in the e-mail are stored exclusively for the purpose of contacting and processing the request.

11. Processing of personal data in the context of the use of Twitter
On leverist.de, GIZ offers the possibility to visit the leverist.de presence on Twitter.
This online presence is operated in order to interact with users active there and to provide information about projects and services. A click on the logo of a social network leads to the leverist.de presence in the respective network.
When visiting the platform, no personal data is collected, used and stored by GIZ, but by the operators of the respective social network. This also happens if visitors themselves do not have a profile in the respective social network.
The individual data processing operations and their scope differ depending on the operator of the respective social network. GIZ has no influence on the data collection and its further use by the operators of the social networks.
