We – the team behind leverist.de – work for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). leverist.de is a free online platform that facilitates collaboration between the private sector and development cooperation.
What drives us
We believe that companies can do business and at the same time support sustainable development in developing countries and emerging economies. As a source of innovative ideas, businesses are instrumental in addressing global challenges. We can achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda together.

On leverist.de, we pinpoint opportunities to engage in sustainable business activities in developing countries and emerging economies. With leverist.de, we are creating a digital network that connects a company’s innovative capacity with the longstanding experience of development cooperation on the ground. Our goal is to give businesses direct and transparent access to development cooperation, so that both sides benefit.
